Formulation Prediction for Young's Modulus of Poly(dimethylsiloxane) by Spectroscopic Methods

In this work, we refer to the fraction of hydrides and vinyl groups consumed in cross-linking reaction as a variation properties poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) with varying formulation curing agent from 3.2 wt % 50 %. Young's modulus, density, refractive indices PDMS were observed have maxima at about 10 cross linker. The intensity Raman band for Si?H stretching mode cross-linker is almost zero if less than %, but it linearly increasing content cross-linker. dependence elastic modulus on could be explained terms cross-linked network. analytical framework proposed work used optimizing hence its can tailored specific applications.
